I worked with Molly previously on the Yoga Mandala Project website, and it is the greatest compliment to have a client return. Molly decided that the VIP template option was the best for her, as I was able to customize her site to meet her vision and needs, but at a fraction of the cost of a fully custom site. She selected the Bloom template, and we got to work!
For my VIP template clients, the process is very similar to a custom project, except the starting point is the pre-designed template rather than a blank page. Molly and I kicked it off with a strategy session, where we talked through her client onboarding process and her site map.
Again, Molly’s organization proved so helpful, because she had A LOT she wanted to share on her site, including events and a small shop. The beauty of Squarespace is that it can do it all.
Rather than investing in full branding, we created a color palette, mood board, and fonts, including a unique font for her logo, to give Molly a solid foundation to build upon. This is a super smart way to get started because the brand can grow and evolve as the business does.
I have to admit it was SO FUN watching this project come to life. It’s amazing how different a template can look with the change of colors and gorgeous photos (like Molly’s).
